Brizo, career changed from Hearing Dog training to pursue his life-changing path as a Professional Therapeutic Support Dog, does his part in providing support, comfort & connection to the clients he sees!
"Having Brizo as a therapy dog has added to people's comfort in therapy. A couple of people have said they will feel more comfortable being in person again with the therapy dog present to help their anxiety. For me, it is nice to be with Brizo in therapy for several reasons. He is a point of joining with clients who often relate through their love of dogs. He is also a source of comfort and presence when in person - he wags his tail and looks into people's eyes, which is endearing and disarming. He is a steady presence for me too, always up for a belly rub or pet, taking breaks between sessions for self-care, and grounding me with breathing too."
