ECHO the Pawsibilities -- Annual Fundraiser & Friendraiser Campaign
ECHO (Ears Continuously Hearing for Others) the Pawsibilites is IHDI’s Annual Campaign. As a FUNDRAISER and a FRIENDRAISER, it strives to raise much needed funds, recruit new volunteers, and create a greater awareness about IHDI.
Transform Lives! Give the Gift of a Hearing Dog.
Hearing loss is the fourth-leading cause of disability globally. For the 50 million Americans, more than 10 percent of the population, hearing loss presents a wide range of daily challenges -- from education to personal relationships to quality of life.
Hearing dogs are a unique type of service animal, and IHDI is a unique organization. IHDI’s work in training other ears to hear transforms dogs into hearing service dogs on alert 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, that enable clients to lead more fulfilling, independent lives with meaningful community interactions.
IHDI invests $20,000 into preparing a hearing service dog. Yet, guided by the belief that finances should never be the determining factor for access to our services, trained dogs are placed at no cost to our clients.
That is why raising funds is critical to IHDI. Gifts to IHDI are 100% tax deductible and directly support the care and training necessary for hearing service dogs to become heroes to our clients.
