ECHO the Pawsibilities -- Annual Fundraiser & Friendraiser Campaign

Transform Two Lives! Give the Gift of a Hearing Dog.
Although many people seek peace and quiet, for the 50 million Americans, more than 10 percent of the population, who experience hearing loss, it can be lonely, isolating, and even dangerous.
Hearing dogs are a unique type of service animal, and IHDI is a unique organization. IHDI’s work in training other ears to hear results in transforming dogs into service hearing dogs that enhance a client’s quality of life and strengthens communities.
Being dedicated to those we serve means our work is guided by the belief that finances should never be the determining factor for access to our services. Therefore, although it costs IHDI $20,000 to prepare a service hearing dog, IHDI trained dogs are placed at no cost to our clients.
That is why raising funds is critical to IHDI. Gifts to IHDI are 100% tax deductible and directly support the care and specialized training necessary for hearing dogs to be on alert 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so that clients may lead more fulfilling and independent lives.
