Thank you Cherry Creek High School American Sign Language course for welcoming the Hearing Dog program into their classroom to help wrap up their curriculum on Service Dogs!
Visits like this not only allow for our staff to share how a service dog provides safety, independence & freedom, but it also allows for our program to share with these students the difference they are making by choosing to learn American Sign Language, and how they are helping to bridge the gap between the d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing world. As a program, we are so thrilled to see more & more schools within our community offering American Sign Language courses!
