Congratulations to Hearing Dog Team Sue and Artie for passing their annual recertification. Along with providing lifetime support to IHDI teams, including refresher training and ongoing skills development, IHDI's updated certification model includes reviewing reports and videos of the team's continuing work and progress. In addition, each Hearing Dog partnership participates in annual recertification with IHDI's Training Team, ensuring continued best practices in their sound alert and public work as a Hearing Dog Team. Full certification status is granted if the team is deemed independent and competent. Additionally, clients must submit an annual report, vet records, and videos/photos for review to ensure continued success and commitment.
